Girls Cricket

Girls cricket at Mackie has been building from strength to strength since our first all girls team debuted in season 2019/20.

Participating in the All Girls Cricket Competition (AGCC), we provide opportunities for girls of all ages and abilities to participate and have fun with cricket! There are also many girls that make their start at Mackie with the Woolworths Cricket Blast program. Whatever stage of your cricket journey you are at we can help you develop and have fun.

The tremendous growth in cricket for girls continues to encourage more opportunities for girls at Mackie. Along with the dedicated girls only cricket available in the AGCC competition, there are opportunities to play in mixed teams across the Mackie Junior program.

We also have a clear pathway for girls to progress to senior cricket. Four of the girls from season 2021/22 played with the senior women throughout the season.

Girls are welcome in our senior teams across both the Cricket Southern Bayside Women (CSBW) competition and the South East Cricket Association (SECA). If you are not sure what team might be right for you or the budding cricketing girl in your life…please contact us to discuss.
