Women’s Cricket at Mackie
Welcoming community cricket for women of different ages, abilities and experience levels.
Women’s Cricket for Everyone
Mackie Cricket Club provides a welcoming and supportive women’s cricket program for players with different levels of experience.
Our women’s teams compete in the Cricket Southern Bayside Women’s (CSBW) competition, providing opportunities for experienced cricketers, players returning to the game and those trying organised cricket for the first time.
Women’s cricket has a proud history at Mackie, with the club re-establishing its senior women’s program in 2020/21 after a break of almost 30 years. Since then, the program has continued to grow as an important part of the Mackie cricket community.

Playing at Mackie
Mackie’s women’s cricket program combines competitive community cricket with a welcoming and social club environment.
Players can develop their skills and confidence while enjoying cricket as part of a team, whether they have played for years or are picking up a bat and ball for the first time.
With girls’ and women’s cricket both part of the Mackie pathway, the club provides opportunities for different generations to enjoy cricket — including mothers and daughters playing alongside each other.
